SEL Day Social-Emotional Learning Advocacy Workshop
Join Committee for Children and the SELinEDU community to celebrate the third-annual SEL Day by taking action to protect and promote social-emotional learning (SEL). Now, more than ever, it’s vital that your lawmakers and decision makers hear from you directly on why it’s important for young people and adults to have access to SEL. In this workshop, we’ll discuss effective ways to talk about and advocate for SEL. We’ll also practice crafting advocacy messages to prompt other community members to take action at the local, state, or federal levels on SEL Day. No advocacy experience is necessary to participate in this workshop!
SEL4US and The Urban Assembly invite schools and communities around the globe to celebrate the third annual International SEL Day on Friday, March 11, 2022. Our theme this year is: Finding Common Ground, Pursuing Common Good.
