We know that social-emotional learning (SEL) changes lives. Studies show that SEL delivers long-term improvements in skills, behavior, and academic performance while reducing anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. SEL competencies are also critically important for long-term success in today’s economy.
We know you get it, but many members of our communities don’t know about SEL yet.
On March 8, 2024 we will come together to showcase SEL in our communities, promote SEL to our personal and professional networks, advocate SEL with our policymakers, and support SEL in our schools, organizations and communities.
This year as we continue to face the challenges of a global pandemic, SEL Day 2024 will focus on Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Leaders.
We welcome all individuals and organizations to join us as partners in spreading the word about what SEL is and why it’s so critical.
